Job description and role:
To support its rapid development in the UK market, Hästens is looking to recruit an Area Sales Manager based in London. Reporting into the Country Manager, the Area Sales Manager has full top-line responsibility for the Wholesale business within the UK/Ireland. The ASM will develop and grow the market through New Business Development (NBD) and by actively managing the performance and growth of the existing Hästens partners.

The ASM represents Hästens in the market and will ensure that all elements of the Hästens strategy are executed to world-class standards.

The ASM will be an active member of the sales organization.


Primary job responsibilities include the following:
1.     Drives market growth through strategic and relentless New Business Development
2.     Ensures the growth and financial success of the partners in the area
3.     Ensures the Hästens brand is represented and the global strategies and tactics followed
4.     Drives for the delivery of the Hästens retail experience in all stores
5.     Contributes to the business, marketing and PR strategies for the country


We are seeking candidates with the following relevant skills and experience:
- 3+ years experience in sales management within the retail industry- preferable premium or home furnishings, with competencies in brand building and a history of success in increasing sales and profits.
- Degree or other relevant qualification
- Passionate about Sales, with excellent selling and influencing skills.
- Computer literacy in MS Office required: Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Retail Solution experience helpful.
- Work requires significant local/regional travel.
- Language proficiency in native country where territory is located,  and fluency in English. Swedish helpful but not critical.
